Step-by-Step Guide to Making Your First Candle

Now you know a bit about making candles, here is a super easy DIY candle recipe from Simply Earth:

Ingredients

• 2 Amber Glass Jar (8oz)
• DIY Candle Kit (11oz)
• Wooden Mixing Spoon
• Autumn Air Essential Oil Blend
• Homebody Essential Oil Blend

Instructions

Open candle making kit; remove wick, wick sticker, and wick centering tool.

Then place the wick stickers on the bottom metal part of your wicks. Stick wicks to the bottom center of the candle jars.

Place the opened candle wax bag in microwave and microwave on high for 3 minutes. If wax isn’t melted, keep microwaving at 30-second intervals until completely melted.

Pour the melted wax into the jars, splitting between the two.

Then add your choice of 150 drops of essential oils to each of your candles and gently stir with the wooden mixing spoon. Be sure to incorporate the essential oils completely.

Thread the wick centering tool through the wick and place the tool on top of the jar to keep wick centered.

Allow the wax to harden completely. Once the wax is cool, trim the wick and enjoy your candle.

After you made this all natural candle, it can last up to 3 years!
