Easy Christmas Melt and Pour Soap Recipe

While there are some many holiday soap recipes, I think this is one of the best Christmas soap for kids. If you follow this recipe, it makes 16 little penguin soaps.

Ingredients

• Soap mold
• 1 tablespoon blue mica powder
• ½ pound of goat’s milk melt-and-pour soap base 
• 10 drops of Lavender essential oil or a calming blend safe for kids 

Instructions 

Cut up the melt and pour soap base into small cubes about one inch. 

Put the cubes of soap into a microwave-safe glass container and melt in 30-second increments until fully melted. 

Add 10 drops of lavender essential oil. 

Then, add in the blue mica powder and stir very well until it is all combined with no chunks. 

Pour the liquid into the soap molds. 

Let sit overnight, or for a few hours at least. 

Pop out of the soap molds when it is hardened and enjoy! 

Notes

• You can use any essential oils that you want as long as you use oils that are safe for children. 
• Any soap mold will work, it does not have to be the one I used. 
• Mica powder gives it a fun color for kids but is not necessary either. 
• If you don’t want any bubbles on the top of the soap, you can spray it with rubbing alcohol after pouring the soap into the mold.
