- You can use other essential oils or a ratio you prefer.
- You do not have to use a vanilla bean if you don’t have one or don’t want to. This will just give it an extra vanilla smell, but necessary.
- Alternatively, you can infuse the oil with vanilla beans for a greater smell. Infused oil is very easy to do!
- You can also use any other carrier oil, it does not have to be avocado oil.

The wonderful thing about homemade vanilla perfume oil is that you can tailor the formula to your own preferences. Try blending vanilla with other complementary essential oils to create your signature scent. A few drops of lavender, jasmine, sandalwood, or orange can make an incredible smell too!
Feel free to experiment with different carrier oils as well to get the right consistency and skin feel. Use fractionated coconut oil for a lightweight, fast-absorbing oil. Or try richer oils like jojoba or avocado for deeper moisturization.
