How to Make Rose Petal Bath Salts
Here is how to easily make your own rose petal bath salts:
Materials Needed
- Dried Rose Petals: Adds beauty, a light exfoliation, and a soothing aroma.
- 1/4 cup Epsom Salt: Relieves muscle aches and detoxifies the skin.
- 1/4 cup Himalayan Pink Salt: Boosts mineral absorption and provides additional exfoliation.
- 3 tablespoons Baking Soda: Softens water and enhances skin comfort.
- 20 drops Geranium Essential Oil: Rose, geranium, or lavender essential oils enhance the therapeutic benefits and add a sweet fragrance.
- Optional Add-Ins: Mica powder for shimmer or dried lavender for added relaxation.
Instructions
Add Epsom salts, Himalayan salt and baking soda to the mixing bowl.
Next add in your drops of essential oil.
Then add in the dried rose petals.
Stir to combine all of the ingredients. Store in an air tight container.
How to Use
When taking a bath, add about 4 tablespoons to the bath and swish the water around to mix it into the water.
If you don’t like the clean up, consider using a mesh bag to keep the petals in.
