Benefits of Rose Vinegar
Here are just some of the benefits of rose vinegar:
For Skin
- Soothes Irritation: The natural astringent properties of vinegar, combined with the anti-inflammatory benefits of rose petals, make it ideal for calming redness and irritation.
- Balances pH Levels: Rose vinegar helps restore the skin’s natural pH, promoting a healthy complexion.
- Hydrates and Tones: It gently hydrates while acting as a natural toner, leaving your skin feeling refreshed. This is how I use it; I just put in a spray bottle and spray on my face after my shower.

How to Make DIY Rose Vinegar
Now that you know some of the benefits, here is how to make your own:
Materials Needed

Instructions
Fill the large mason jar about half full with the dried rose petals.

Fill the entire mason jar with distilled vinegar.

You can put the top on the mason jar and let the vinegar sit for 2-4 weeks in the sunlight and this will help infuse the vinegar with the rose petals.

If you want to speed up the process, pour the vinegar/ rose petal mixture into a pot on the stove on low heat for about 20-30 minutes.
This will speed up the infusion process. Let it completely cool before adding back to a mason jar or to a glass spray bottle.

Notes
- Use organic rose petals and high-quality vinegar for the best results.
- Apple cider vinegar adds an extra layer of nutrients, while white vinegar offers a more neutral base. I switch it up every time I make it for my facial toner.
- Note the date you started the infusion to track the time.
