I love using bath salts; I don’t think I have taken a bath without them in years!
There are so many great benefits to using bath salts, especially with eucalyptus.
With it being cold season right now, I wanted to make something that my kids could use that would be safe and effective for their sinus congestion.
Once I perfected this recipe and we tried it, I was blown away by how well it worked! We keep a jar always in the cupboard just in case we get the sniffles.
Here is my simple DIY eucalyptus bath soak that’s safe for kids and the entire family!

Benefits of Eucalyptus Baths
Here are some of the amazing benefits you can get from taking a bath with eucalyptus:
Respiratory Health
Eucalyptus is renowned for its potent decongestant properties. Inhaling the steam from a eucalyptus-infused bath can help clear the nasal passages and relieve sinus congestion.
This makes it particularly beneficial during cold and flu season, or for those suffering from allergies.

Muscle Relief
After a strenuous workout or a long day of physical activity, a eucalyptus bath can provide much-needed muscle relief.
Additionally, the warm water aids in increasing blood circulation, which helps in relaxing tense muscles and reducing pain.
This is one of my favorite benefits of eucalyptus in my bath!

Mental Clarity and Stress Relief
The invigorating scent of eucalyptus can stimulate the mind, helping to improve focus and concentration too. At the same time, the soothing warm bath can help reduce stress and anxiety. I personally love the smell of eucalyptus.

How to Use
Use 2 Tablespoons in each bath and enjoy!
For maximum benefits, soak in your eucalyptus bath for at least 20 minutes. Ensure the water is warm, but not too hot, ideally around 100°F (38°C).
This temperature helps to relax muscles and open pores without causing excessive dryness or irritation.
