Homemade Pineapple Ginger Shot Recipe
This little homemade pineapple ginger shot recipe is one of those things I keep coming back to, especially when I feel like my body needs a little extra support.
It’s sweet with a bit of spice, and it has that fresh, bright flavor that I really love! I usually make a small batch at the beginning of the week and keep it in the fridge so it’s ready when I need it.
I originally made a immune shot with ginger, and loved it, so I began testing out other varieties of wellness shots. This DIY pineapple ginger wellness shot was just too good I had to share it with you!
It only takes a few minutes, and you don’t need anything fancy. Just a few simple ingredients that work really well together!

Why It Works
I always like to know why I’m using something, not just throw ingredients together and hope for the best.
Pineapple is full of vitamin C and contains bromelain, which can help support digestion and calm inflammation.
Ginger is one I reach for all the time. It’s warming, helps with inflammation, and is especially nice during cold season or when you feel a little run down. It’s what I use in my ginger lemon honey tea just for this reason!
Lemon juice adds that fresh, clean taste, plus a little extra vitamin C and antioxidants.
Turmeric is optional, but it’s another great anti-inflammatory. If you do use it, a tiny pinch of black pepper can help your body absorb it better! I personally prefer turmeric root itself, but if you can’t find it, powder will do.
And then there’s honey, which just makes everything easier to take. It also has its own soothing and antimicrobial benefits too though!
Altogether, it’s a really simple way to give your body a little boost.

How To Make Pineapple Ginger Shots
Here is my simple ginger pineapple lemon shot recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp turmeric (optional)
- 1 tbsp peeled ginger
- Juice of ½ lemon
- ¼ cup water or coconut water

Instructions

Add all ingredients, pineapple, ginger, honey, lemon juice, and turmeric (if using), to a blender or food processor. Add the water as well and blend until smooth.

Strain if you prefer a thinner texture, or leave it pulpy for more fiber.
Pour into small jars or shot glasses and enjoy fresh!

Notes:
- Store leftovers in the fridge and use within 3-4 days.
- For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of ginger and skip the turmeric.
- You can also freeze it in ice cube trays and add it to smoothies later, which is something I do a lot!

How I Use It
I usually have one of these in the morning before getting breakfast for everyone. It’s one of those small habits that just helps me feel a little more healthy and that I am taking care of my body.
It’s simple, but it works! And when you pair it with good sleep, nourishing meals, and maybe a cup of herbal tea here and there, it all adds up!
