Why Collagen?

Collagen is a structural protein that plays a vital role in the health of our skin, hair, nails, joints, and gut.

As we age, collagen production slows down, so incorporating it into your routine can help replenish what your body naturally loses.

Here are a few of the key benefits of collagen:

  • Glowing Skin: Collagen can improve skin elasticity, hydration, and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
  • Joint Support: It helps maintain the integrity of cartilage and reduces joint discomfort.
  • Gut Health: Collagen contains amino acids that support the lining of the digestive tract.
  • Hair and Nail Growth: Many people see stronger nails and healthier hair with regular use.
  • Muscle & Bone Support: Collagen provides structural support to bones and helps preserve lean muscle mass.

When it comes to collagen, quality matters. Not all collagen powders are created equal, and I’m pretty picky about what I put in my body—especially if I’m using it daily.

That’s why Naked Collagen is my go-to.

  • Sourced from Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised Cattle: Naked Collagen uses only bovine hides from pasture-raised cows in Europe, with no growth hormones or antibiotics.
  • Single Ingredient, Nothing Added: No sweeteners, no flavorings, no preservatives—just pure hydrolyzed collagen peptides.
  • Dissolves Easily: It mixes smoothly into both hot and cold liquids without clumping, which makes it ideal for gummies, smoothies, and teas.
  • Third-Party Tested: They test every batch for heavy metals and contaminants, which gives me peace of mind.
  • Transparent Labeling: I love how clean and straightforward the label is. No surprises, just real collagen I can trust.

Naked Collagen checks all my boxes and is the only collagen I’ve consistently used in my own herbal kitchen.

Why Butterfly Pea Flower?

Butterfly pea flower is more than just a pretty blue herb. Traditionally used in Ayurvedic and Thai medicine, it’s packed with antioxidant power and wellness benefits.

I decided to pair this with the collagen to make a powerhouse gummy for my family’s health. Here are a few of the benefits:

  • Rich in Antioxidants: Especially anthocyanins, which protect the skin and body from oxidative stress.
  • Supports Cognitive Function: Known to help with memory and focus due to its neuroprotective properties.
  • Mood-Boosting Properties: Used as a calming herb, it may support emotional balance and stress relief.
  • Skin Benefits: Antioxidants may help reduce signs of aging and inflammation in the skin.
  • Fun Bonus: It changes color! If you add lemon juice to the mix, it shifts from blue to purple due to its natural pH sensitivity—great for experimenting!
