You will want to store your dried lavender in airtight containers.

Dry lavender can last a very long time, if you store it correctly! Also keep your lavender away from sunlight, and it is best to avoid heat and humidity as well.

1. Lavender Bath Salts

Bath salts are so easy to make and are great when you want to take a quick bath. Lavender bath salts help with pain, relaxation, and soothing your skin.

2. Lavender Soap 

Adding some lavender flower buds on top of some soap is a fun way to use your dried lavender. 

Lavender soap is one of my favorite homemade lavender gifts because everyone loves the smell of lavender!

3. Lavender Infused Oil 

One of the easiest ways to use dried lavender is by infusing it into oil! This is the most common way I use all my dried lavender. 

Simply add some dried lavender buds in a clean, empty glass jar. Then, fill the remainder of the jar with a carrier oil of your choice (I like avocado oil). Make sure to have an inch on top so that the flowers can expand.

4. Lavender Essential Oil Roller Bottle

While you will want to add some lavender essential oil to your roller bottle, you can also add in some flower buds as well! This keeps the roller bottle staying fresh and smelling good.

5. Oatmeal Lavender Face Mask

Grind some lavender buds and oatmeal down so they create a powder. This can be stored in a glass container until you are ready to use. 

Then, add some water to form a sticky paste and rub all over your face. This oatmeal lavender face mask will naturally exfoliate your face and keep it healthy and clear! 

6. Lavender Dryer Sheets

Instead of using dryer sheets that have nasty chemicals, you can make your own lavender dryer sheets or bags! 

Add some dried lavender into a muslim bag, and tie knots at the top to keep it tight. Simply add a bag to your wash while you dry it to help your clothes have a nice fresh scent.

7. Lavender Lotion

Lavender lotion will help your skin feel good, heal, and relax you as well. You can grind down some dried lavender buds so it becomes a soft exfoliator, or use some lavender infused oil from before. 

Lotion bars are also super beneficial and easy to make! 

8. Lavender Tea 

There are a variety of teas you can make with lavender. For pretty much every tea, you can always add some lavender because it is a sweet taste! 

You can also just have dried lavender as your tea all alone. Pour some hot water over your dried buds for a few minutes. Use a reusable tea bag and take it out when you are ready to drink! 

9. Lavender Sachets

Lavender sachets can be used for a multitude of purposes. From dryer bags to drawer fresheners, you can use sachets filled with dry lavender flowers for just about anything! 

10. Dried Lavender Wreath

This is one of my favorite ways to use dried lavender! This is for when you still have the lavender flowers on the stem. Wrap them around in a circle to create a beautiful lavender wreath.

You can use only lavender or add in some other dried plants as well. 

11. Lavender Centerpiece

Add your lavender to a vase and have a beautiful centerpiece for your table or as a wedding centerpiece. These will look stunning and will help keep your room smelling great too! 

12. Lavender Syrup

If you are wondering how to use dried lavender in baking, simply make a lavender syrup! It is super easy to make; simply bring water, sugar, and lavender to a boil. 

Use your lavender syrup on pancakes, waffles, and so much more! It is so delicious; you’ll definitely want to make this time and time again. 

13. Lavender Potpourri 

Lavender potpourri is another easy way to use dried lavender. You can use it alone or with a combination of other flowers to have a beautiful smell. 

Put in your dresser, closest, car, bathroom, and just about anywhere you want to smell like lavender.

14. Lavender Lemonade 

Have you ever had lavender lemonade? It is so delicious! What I like to do is to create a lavender tea, and then freeze it into ice cubes. Then, after I make my lemonade, I add the lavender tea ice cubes into it! 

15. Lavender Muffins

If you want to use lavender in your baking, another great way is to make muffins. You can cut up your dried lavender buds if they are too big for you or just add them to whatever recipe you are using! 

16. Lavender Spray 

Make a DIY room spray with dried lavender in your spray bottle. It will keep the spray smelling fresh as the lavender flowers slowly add a more relaxing smell to the spray. 

You can also use it as a linen spray and a nighttime spray for little ones. 

17. Hair Spray 

You can do the same thing for a nice hair spray. Usually called a mermaid hair spray, this is beneficial to help you hair stay healthy and grow faster. 

Use lavender, rosemary, and cedarwood essential oil to a spray bottle with witch hazel and water. Then, add some dried lavender buds to the spray bottle and shake up!

18. Steam Lavender for Home Air Freshener 

If you want your house to smell good fast, put some lavender flowers into a pot with water on the stove. As it heats up, you will have a natural air freshener! 

When you are finished, you can then use the water as lavender tea too!

If your dried lavender is still on the stem, add it to a beautiful bouquet. Lavender bouquets are some of my favorite things because they just smell so good!

Making rice bags are super easy and will help with pain, sleep, and so much more. When you are adding in your rice to the bag, be sure to add in some dried lavender too!

Facial steams are super beneficial and help keep your skin beautiful, glowing, and healthy. Pour hot water on some lavender flowers and keep your face in the steam for a bit.

22. DIY Candles 

Add some dried lavender flowers on top and throughout your candle the same way you would with DIY soap.
