How to Make a Natural Degreaser Spray
This recipe makes one 16-ounce spray bottle.
Ingredients
- ½ cup vinegar
- 1teaspoon liquid castile soap
- Water
- 20 drops lemon essential oil (optional but works and smells great)
- Spray bottle
Instructions
Mix essential oils into the castile soap.
Add in the castile soap mixture and vinegar. Let it fizz—this is normal!
Pour into your spray bottle and top off with water.
Shake gently to combine.
To Use: Spray directly on greasy surfaces, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe clean. I found it even more effective when you sprinkle some baking soda first and then spray!
Notes & Tips
- Skip the essential oils if you prefer unscented cleaners, but citrus oils really shine here. Lemon essential oil is very effective for cleaning too, so it’s a win-win!
